1989 bronco electrical swap?

hi ive got a 89 bronco with faulty wiring due to the previous owner splicing and butchering the old wiring harness, and since its basically a fire hazard id like to replace it, i found a guy who has a wiring harness for a bronco but its year 92-96 and i was wondering if its compatible, heres a little back round on my truck, its a carberated 7.5liter with a c6 , all i want is newer condition wiring for the starter,charging system and dash, if i have to splice a few ends here and there i dont mind cause im not the half *** type of oh ill just wrap it in electrical tape, so if you happen to know from personal experience that the wiring harness is similar let me know, thanks alot
