Food allergies = diarrhea??

Can you have diarrhea from an allergic reaction to food? I am allergic to latex and found on webMD that there is a correlation in teh latex allergy and ingesting bananas, kiwis, papayas and avacodos. when i have a reaction to latex, it itches and swells at the site. Could I be having diarrhea reactions to avacodos?? I eat them quite regularly and can't find the source of my chronic diarrhea.
