Should i break up with my boyfriend?

im almost 16. We have been going out for alittle over a year and the reason i am thinking about it, is because things have gotten boring. When im with him sometimes we have a lot of fun if we like go somewhere but things are getting old. We use to just be able to chill at one of our houses forever and never be bored and now i go to his house and i feel like we just sit there for hours then i go home. He got his license so im thinking things might get more exciting? but like when we text we use to talk about soo much and never run out of things to say now all our conversations are dull, is it just because we have been going out for so long and things arent new and exciting, is that normal or should i feel like iwant to be with him every second... im just confused
