Did God bring judgment upon the local churches?

Is the Church under the judgment of God today? How do you define the meaning of the word Church in the Bible? Are you saved because you were baptized in water? Or you entered into the gospel covenant through water baptism? Or is the Church in apostasy today? Aren't many churches falling away more and more from the truths of the Bible? Just look all around you. We see the immenent apostasty of the churches today. For example, many churches allow divorce and remarriage. They allow it so frequently now and can't resolve the problem that so many Christians don't affirm the sanctity of life and marriage. The Mormon Church has talked about eternal marriage, but Christians can't prove them wrong because they are experiencing more traditional marriages and more divorce than ever before.
