Genotype for Light Brown Eyes?

The thing with high school is that they lie to you. In order to simplify things they tell you that brown is dominant to blue. However eye colour is quite a bit more complicated than that. There are many different genes that work together in order to produce your given eye colour. Thus there is no simple dominant/recessive one-gene genotype.
