Volkswagen 2.0L 2002 Golf GLS, Hidden power?

What tips can anyone give, besides engine swapping? I am way satisfied with the mileage from this car. It already has a few mods. Konig Lightweight alloys, K&N replacement filter, Synthetic oil, high performance Falken tires. But that is it, and none of these are to make it faster. Any suggestions? Thanks...
