Do I have to sort snails?

When I was cycling my shrimp tank with a goldfish I tossed in a red ramshorn snail to keep him company. And once I put the shrimp in I just left the snail in. I added about 60 malaysian trumpet snails to aerate the aqua soil. Now there are quite a few ramshorn snails, like a lot. How do I get the ramshorn out and leave the malaysian in?
